Am I the only one waiting on Team Fortress 2?

I haven't heard much on it lately and most of the sites I visit haven't updated in months. Is there anyone out there who has seen beta testing, more videos, etc....

I was waiting for it but they parked the release so damn far off I don't think it's ever going to come out. Now they have to decide to add some new physics engine to it. Whoopee! Anohter 1.5 years..

I want TFC with better graphics, more modes, more maps and more options.. voice chat would be nice too..

Team Fortress 2?? What is that? is that the free add-on that was supposed to be included with Half-life?? hmmm sorry, doesnt ring a bell. lol I will worry about this game next xmas.

yeah, Well, originally Team Fortress 2 was going to be included with Half-Life. Then it was an add-on, then it became its seperate game. eventually it will be its on OS.

thats the spirit... i was looking forward to it so much, especially after they released those videos that showed actual gameplay smooth as silk.. like the soldier sneaking in the dark behind the other soldier and slittin his throat... but by the time it comes out, its not gonna be new technology anymore... so wuts the point? I too have waited forever for this game release. The "release date" is stated as 3/01, but we all know their track record so don't hold your breath. I did find an interesting interview that was recently done about TF2. Some new things he mentions are a "commander" mode...which floats over the battlefield (similiar to spectator mode), as well as smoke grenades, foot prints left in dirt/sand, better body physics, etc.
