damn, wonder what type of graphic card that game will need. and processor too.

Quake 4 is supposed to use the Doom3 graphics engine, so you may need a Geforce 3 or equivilant to play with everything at it's maximum.
The game is may come out before Doom 3, it just depends on when they finish the Engine.

I don't think they will release Quake 4 before Doom. I think they want to use DOOM to show off the new engine. A buddy of mine got to see the demo (or showing) of it at Quakecon and he said he was really suprised by how well the game looked. (doom that is)

Yeah definitally not before Doom III which I hear has a around a mid-2002 release. I am guessing around mid-2003. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is scheduled for Dec-2001.

I heard somewhere min. req. would be like 650MHZ PIII 128MB RAM and GeForce256 32MB

but that's minimum.

i doubt it will be that high. q3 TA is like a 300mhz and 8 or 16mb graphic card. it will probably want 400mhz and 16mb graphic card at least.
