We live in N. Cent Texas and purchased Max Payne when it was available. Great game, You gotta like shooter games to like it.
You gotta have an awsome vid card to see all the things. (Radeon DDR64 VIVO retail) You need a great Athlon cpu to run the thing like it deserves to be ran.

Played this gem on a Duron800 with a 32mbTNT2 and it plays well on 800x600res with no lag.

I took the Circuit City ad to Best Buy and got a price match. Got Max Payne for $15. Good game... wish it was longer and had at least cooperative multiplay.

Co op play would rule. Too bad there is no multiplay and co op is so rare these days. Last co op I played was duke nukem.

Yes, yes, the game is a bit short. But it still is one of the best shooters ever. By the way, it would have been so cool if Max Payne had included a coop play mode, so that you could play through the whole game with a buddy.
