Blue Shift & Opposing Force Retail package question.

Hi , i wonder if the extra Opposing Force CD they give you if you buy Blue Shift can be played without the original Half Hife cd ?
And also if i get this Opposing Force CD,... can i download Counter Strike after and play this extension also online ?
I du not hawe the original Half-Life version.
Also ;..it is worthit ?

Okay.... The opposing forces on the cd is standalone, so you don't need Half Life. Not sure about counterstrike, but I suspect not.

Is it worth it? Well if you haven't played oppfor, then I suppose yes it is. But if you are only buying it for Blue Shift, then not really. I finished Blue shift in about 5 hours play. Don't get me wrong it is an excellent game, but wayyyyyyy too short.

If your looking for multiplayer just buy CS it allowes you to play most everything online.

But if 0pposing Force can be played alone that means it hawes the complete Half Life Engine inside the game and if so i think Counter Strike (downloaded version) can be played without any problems.

Im waiting for this to drop in price.. then Ill probably get it but I think they want 40.00 right now and I think for what you get thats too much. So, be patient and get it on sale!
