sorry guys, I should have been more clear. by 12000 i meant 12000 dollars worth, not 12000 games. If you know what the consoles, systems and titles are worth then you can see how this figure seriously degrades the truth. But im not trying to be a poor sport.

    sorry

Several hundred - way too many. I calculated the other night that just the ones I still have the boxes for cost me around $2400. That's figuring an average of $30 each. And I have hundreds of games in jewel cases - been collecting since the days of wolf 3d and scorched earth.

Maybe we should narrow the topic down to how may FULL retail games did you buy within the last year or so.

Right now, I'll around 30 games for the year, six consoles the rest or pc's. That's around $350 for the year, usually spend around $500-750 on games/software a year. About $1750 a year or so for all my gaming needs (consoles, upgrades, cable, ect).

That's considable less then what I used to--heh.

my collection is pithy compared to you guys. I only have 32 retail PC games, and no console games. I think i have a gameboy and about 4 games kicking around here somewhere. This figure will start going up as soon as I get my PS2 next month, cause that has a bunch of games i want.

Hum... That is a hard question to answer.. I had around 45 games for my Atari 400... I lost count after that...

Currently on my shelf I have about 30 games divided between my PC/DC/PS2/X-Box. Up in my atic... Who knows.... Boxes of them...

I'd say I have about 15-20 original PC games. And my girlfriend thinks that is a lot! I never was a gaming fella, though.
