    Question Please help, Outlook express is dieing fast!

    Outlook express after a clean install of win98 and the intallation of AOL instant messanger and real player now takes over 40 secs to load up!
    I have a PIII 600eb and 128mb Ram.

    Any IDeas on whats causing this?

    Microsoft netmeeting is doing the same thing?!

    You probably need to format.

    Yeah, I recommend "format c:\" as soon as possible. That usually clears up those netmeeting problems right away.

    Anyways it was my friends pc and I figured out the problem, he was infected with about 45 copies of a virus. Humm, I cant remember the name of it but it attacks EXE files and infects all of them, pretty pain in the *** thing, he ended up formatting C anyways though, although I doubt you guys really meant that. But norton cleaned everything up and everythings fine.

    Speaking of Netmeeting problems, I have never been able to open Netmeeting on my old computer or this brand new computer without it locking my system up. Any suggestions?
