i need drivers for an aureal card in windows...vortex advantage 8810

my friend has an aureal vortex advantage 8810 and i just installed xp on his system but when his computer first boots up and it has the intro sound it plays it for a while then it just cuts out. then the sound wont work again until you restart the computer and then it just does the same thing. any ideas? we cant find any new drivers for it and at the website it says they havent finished any drivers for win2k and winxp. any ideas?

If they haven't made drivers for the product you best hope that someone else has, or you're out of luck. I can only recommend doing a search on the net, and if luck is with you you may stumble across some techy who's got the same product and made his own drivers for WinXP..
