    whats with the new avatars and shark names?

    I am seeing all sorts of new stuff here, new avatars and new names for people over 5k posts, is that a new thing here? if you get over 5k posts you get your own avatar and your own shark name or something (like genetic shark, etc.)

    Not new. You are correct though. 5k gives you your own custom av and name of you choosing. 5k used to be called Great White Shark...

    The title bit is new but not the custom avatar. Also, genetic shark is an official rank that you reach when you get 1000 posts.

    Mods are White Sharks by default but get custom titles.
    5Ker's are Great White Sharks by default but get custom titles.

    I'd like to see it stay as sharks, instead of other things, though... or at least something having to do with sharks...

    I totally agree, there's a TON of shark species in the world.

    Although MoM going back to Expensive Sushi was pretty funny...
    If I couldn't type drunk, I'd still be Expensive Sushi.
