I was thinking about a printer I wanted to get years ago. It was a color laser printer, but the computer cpu did all the setup and everything, the printer itself was basically a print head in a box. It was only like 600 bucks back in like 1991 but it was SLOW; and with how much faster PC processors and stuff are I would imagine it would be a great deal faster...I'm kinda shocked nobody ever revisited this idea again(at least until color lasers get down to inkjet prices).
