4 in 1 drivers, do I need them?
I just got an Epox 8KHA+ mboard ... do I need to install the stuff on the disk it came with????
I have noticed that even after updating my video card drivers, I can't set the resolution above 32 bits (high) for colors (used to be "true colors" on old system). I'm using the same video card.
Thanks in advance, you guys rock!

I would try an use the latest VIA 4 in 1s....It's not recommanded unless you have really horrible problems.

Try getting other video drivers?

that's part of what im asking w/the 4 in 1 .. what do they do??
the card and same video drivers (directly from hercules) work great on my old system.

they are chipset drivers, and they are required (for any VIA chipset), unless you want to run PIO for your HDD and your AGP in PCI mode. Intle has these, too, but they are included with Windows
get them here:

If you are using windows XP, DON'T install them unless you are having stability issues. XP comes with the 4.31 VIA 4 in 1's(It may be a slightly different version, but it definately comes with the 4 in 1's already). As for the colors of your video card, 32bit color is the HIGHEST you can set with current VC's. If the picture doesn't look right, look for newer video card drivers and or check your refresh rates.
