W2K SP2 instullation
I installed SP2 for the second time and downloaded a new copy of SP2, but about 3/4 of the way through instullation it could not fined one of the file that the service pack extracted. I canceled the instullation of the file and fineshed the instullation of SP2. I rebooted after the SP2 instullation and all seams fine with W2K. I have not found any FAQ's on this problem has any one had this problem or herd of any info about this problem.

if it ain't broke don't fix it
if it runs fine without SP2 then you don't have to install it
BTW, you keep spelling installation wrong (not that it matters because mi speling is horibel tooo )

SP2 fixes many security holes and other OS bugs. You should always keep your system's patch level up to date. To do less is to invite trouble.

A firewall won't protect you from many of the security problems that are fixed by patches. A firewall can't help you defend against malicious cookies that contain hostile code or web pages with java scripts that can escape the "sandbox" or . . .
Most security patches protect you against stuff you voluntarily allow through your firewall.
