Cool Your advice on what speaker to choose?

I currently own the cambridge soundworks FPS 2000 digital speakers there about 2 years old. I also own a soundblaster audigy gamer thats installed in a 1.2 AMD with a visiontek G-force 3. Just wondering if purchasing the creative ispires 5.1 5300 is a wise choice or i'm i throwing my money away or should i purchase the logitech's z560's from newegg for $136.00 + shipping. I only have about $170.00 to spend on a speaker system upgrade. Any advice would be great thanks for anyones time.

The speaker system upgrade is mainly for hardcore gaming don't do much dvd or music listening.

If you have any decent basic sound quality standards, you are throwing your money away with the Inspires.

A few questions.... do you need 5.1 for DVD's?

Do you need an uber-volume and uber-bass system?

Would you mind getting a quality over quantity system?

if your gaming then i highly suggest the z-560's. they are really nice and as you probably have noticed they are relativly cheap, especially compared to the competition. go to www.3dsoundsurge.com and look at the review on the speakers and just skip to the part where they tested out gaming and see what they have to say. i read the whole thing last night and found that review to be extremely informative

Go listen to speakers if you can before you buy. Thats the best advice i can give you. It would be phenomenal if you bought from a dealer that would allow you to test out a set in the environment you plan on using them in. Not likely for computer speakers though, as far as i know.
