    Morpheus registry hack???

Hello all. I've got a buddy who installed Morpheus awhile back. Now he has removed it from his system completely (or so we thought). Here's the deal. When he runs NETSTAT on his XP machine it showed an IP address in a CLose_wait state. We ran nslookup and couldn't get the domain name. So we did some playing and found out that the IP that was in the Close_wait state was the IP of Morpheus. He runs adaware everyday and removes all spyware from his system,so no problem there. We searched the registry and could find no musiccity or morpheus anywhere. Any ideas, besides reformatting or course, on what to do next? Thanks a lot.

I dunno that's the bad thing about installing programs like morpheus and kazaa. However I will say that I've installed and uninstalled morpheus from my system many times and it's never left any open connections to the internet like that. Try a registry cleaning service first then take a look at your services that are running on your computer and make sure none of them are out of the ordinary.
