    Lightbulb An easy way to remove MSMessenger

    Just do this:

    windows key+r

    paste

    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove


    Press ENTER

    Restart Windows

    Yes it does.

    But watch out for "Critical Updates" related for MSN Messenger... they have a nasty habit of reinstalling it for you.

    Yup...them moment I saw that critical update I laughed at MS. Good try MS :rolleyes:

    I fell for it...those sneaky bastards! If only I had read this thread before i clicked "install." btw if u have done this yet, disable auto update. Thanks for the info!!
