QUICK!! oh crap, trying to install win 98 but there is a RAM drive! help.
i ran fdisk and found only 1 partition and formatted it, now windows setup is telling me there is a compressed drive. how do i get rid of it?
setup tells me to run the compress utility and remove it prior to installing win 98. too late!! formatted already.

try physically formatting the drive (ridding it of all partitions) then doing a fresh install of 98 (or better yet, buy win 2k pro and install that)

Well, you could always remove the partition than recreate it and then format.
