G4 4600 brought to its knees

I think I read a post on here somewhere where someone was wondering if there was a game that could bring down a geforce 4 out. Well, I have that game. "Dungeon Siege" You can enable the frames per second and with high quality settings this game drops to 18fps with my setup.

I have all of those and they don't bring it down like dungeon siege. Castle Wolfenstien actually runs perfect at highest settings.

Dungeon Siege is a poorly coded game. Mainly, it's speed depend on the cpu, but as for me, after some time, the framerate drop quite a bit. I started playing at 20-25fps and now I'm around 10-15.

The graphics are indeed something to see. I was wandering in a snowy forest today and nearly died several times because I spent too much time admiring the scenery, it was amazing.
Also, did you know that you can also set it up to play at 1600x1280 with a simple change to the .ini file?
As for the frame rate everyone has problems because its so low, but the game still plays fine, so I dont worry about it. I am averaging 21-24 fps with my P3 800mhz Coppermine, overclocked to 933 and a Radeon 8500 and I have had ZERO problems playing the game.

That's surprising that it brought down a GF4. I have a PII 366MHz laptop with an 8MB Rage LT Pro in Windows XP, and the game runs. I mean, it runs at like 15fps, but it runs. I was surprised to see it handle the game so well. But of course I have all details turned to low and resolution is at 640x480 in 16-bit. But still, with my laptop rig running a new game, well that's a feat worth posting, hehe.
