    bloody hell man

    i brought this new phillips webcam. i m having problmes installing it. i connected the USB wire and everything. when i turn my pc on, windows recognises the USB camera and ask for the drievrs. i directed it to the right drive and than it started copying the drivers. Once finished installing the drivers, i get a blue screen saying that "AN EXCEPTION HAS BEEN CASUES BLAH BLAH BLAH..." i tried installing it many times but every time i m hit hit with that problem. plz help.

    i m running windows 98 with 96RAM. on d pacjage it said, that this web cam has speciall been designed for windows 98 as well.

    1) make sure you have the newest drivers....go to mfg site and download newer drivers if available.

    2) Do you have an antivirus program? i have run into problems(rarely)
    installing new software if it is not disabled.

    Unplug the camera and then try installing the drivers. Always install the drivers first before plugging in a USB device.
    If your sig is longer than your post then type more.
