Newegg Motherboard Bundles?
Well I finally decided on all the parts for my new rig and checked the prices out on Newegg and stumbled upon one problem.
The motherboard, Asus P4S533 says "FOR BUNDLES ONLY!"
I figured this meant you had to buy a pre-set combo with a cpu but there isn't such a thing on newegg (right?). So does it just mean I need to have a cpu in the same order as the mobo? Or am I gonna have to go order the mobo from mwave or somewhere else? Also this board has an integrated network card if I read correctly? but the SE value guide still had a d-link network card listed
Also is there CAS2 pc-2700 RAM out there? I only saw CAS2.5 at best everywhere I looked.
I feel like such a newb asking all these questions
thanks for any help

I have no idea what the "For bundles only" means, but I say just order it and see what happens. Or even better give them a call, they are nice people. I actually have Cas2 PC2700 RAM from Corsair. I got it at newegg and it is here. It says cas2, but to tell you the truth you are better off getting Samsung PC2700 and even though it says it runs PC2700 @ cas2.5 it will run much higher.

Thanks for the advice on the memory. I guess I'll just call them soon then unless someone else knows.

My friend ordered the same motherboard yesterday (alone...didn't buy anything else) and it shipped fine.
Elitism: It's lonely at the top. But it's comforting to look down upon everyone at the bottom.
