I have to agree, if you're only 12 and got 5k to blow then no reason not to get top of the line Alienware. Might even save some money and get a bunch of cool games to test the new rig on.

Great White Shark
If you have so much money, send me some and I'll show you how to build it, step by step..
Really, though...why do you need 3 CD drives, and what on earth are you going to do with 2Gb RAM? I had 1.5Gb at one time...there's practically no difference from 512, except the numbers on the screen.

Hammerhead Shark
Let me get this straight...you're 12, you have a 5000 dollar budget, you think you need 3 CD drives, you think you'll need two gig of RAM...either I stepped in something or something else smells of poo.
Well, looking at "some" of the parts you picked(ie the mobo) tells me that you probably don't have the knowledge to build your own(you may be able to get through it with help of others, but those are expensive parts you're learning on). Your choice of parts would be more for a server than for a home computer, and I can't imagine anybody letting a 12 year old build a server for them. You would be MUCH better off letting someone else build it for you since you seem to be just picking the most expensive parts you can find, but the performance from what you are building is gonna be a lot worse than a machine that could be built for a fraction of what you are looking at.
