is there a way to display BOTH time and date in the notification/taskbar area in WinXP? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I do not know of any way through Windows to do that. You don't have to double-click the time to see the date though. Move your cursor over the time and it shows you the date.

It is easy! Just place your cursor on the top edge of the task bar (assuming that the taskbar is on the bottom of your screen), click and hold while moving the mouse upward until 2 additional lines are contained therein. In other words expand your task bar to 3 lines instead of the default 1 line.
