Great White Shark
Is Duke Forever gonna be in E3?
Is it?
Haven't heard anything from it.
I mean, they were 1st delayed because they switched over to the Unreal engine.
But even Unreal 2 is coming out!
What the heck?

Pretty well. I've been waiting for this game since I was in diapers, so I don't imagine the publishers are in any rush to get it out the door.

Hey, Max Payne was in development longer than DNF, it's still possible it'll be released.. (Though Remedy developed their own engine, DNF uses Unreal Engine)

I guess it relly is "out" already...
Tsk tsk tsk.
Haha, if they want to keep up with current technology, they'd have to buy the DoomIII engine.

#1 Reason it's never going to come out...
Too much hype. Look at the hype that has surrounded this game. DNF is never coming out, and if it does, it will be a different name (just so they can say it's not actually DNF).
When will software developers quit announcing games that aren't actually going to come out within 6 months of the announcement (I forgive Bethesda because they actually come through).
I think dev's should make a game, and then when they start "tweaking" it, tell the public. The fact is, Duke Nukem 3D was an excellent concept, and a great game, however, it's something they can't live up to for this generation's games.
DNF will have to be REVOLUTIONARY (like Doom III, or GTA3) in order for people to accept it. If it's just a FPS that lets you go into every room in the game, that's ***. It's got to be different, unique, and a cut above the rest. And not just 1 or 2 things different, but it needs to set the pace in some respects for future FPS.
Dook Nukem Forver... ahhhhh I FART in your general direction. (And Duke Nukem Manhattan Project is a joke)
No one cares about your signature

"DNF is cancelled" this is what i heard from a gaming store.
The engine is outdated, so to recode, using one of the current engines like UT 2003 and DoomIII will cost so much time and effort so they called it off.

LOL no doubt DNF is dead it is still using the Unreal Tournament graphics engine not to say its bad but damn that is 3 years old now! No I mean the UT engine not the new one that is what is screwed up. But hell the renders from the modified engine look incredible. Its like what Half-Life did with the Quake 1 engine.

Oh like that was impressive
You know they will switch to the Doom3 engine soon
