Was looking at the scores... Raider-Eagles... *HOW?!?*
Was looking over the stats... Looks like the Raiders were able to run on the Eagles decently. And that the Raiders sacked McNabb quite a bit (Seymour was a GREAT pickup I think). But also... two picks thrown by Russell and no turnovers by the Eagles?!? And despite this, the Raiders WIN?!? I don't get it... somebody who saw please explain. It's just as the old saying goes I guess... "anybody can beat anybody".

48 called passes, 12 called runs. Every year the Eagles have 1-2 games like this where they go super pass happy and the other team just completely ignores any threat of a run and shuts them down. Mcnabb was sacked 6 times. Also 2 missed field goals hurt. Whats really sad is westbrook had 6 carries for 50 yards. Turn that to 15-18 carries and the whole game changes and Philly probably moves the ball at will.

And while Westbrook looked to have good stats, the Eagles other RB didn't. Like 2.5yrds per rush. If Westbrook is producing well on his runs... why do the Eagles even let the other guy run? Especially since it's not like Westbrook is being "overused"? This just seems retarded. When you have a guy that's hot... ride him out! From what I have been reading, it sounds like the Eagles are having some issues on the O-line as well.

Jason Peters (pro bowl left tackle) got hurt early and never came back. Left guard has been out all season. Shawn Andrews (all pro guard) out for season. They will always loss 1-2 games a year that they are the clear favorite due to the unbalanced offensive playcalling. An opposing teams defensive linemen get in pass rush mode and ignore any run stopping responsabilities, linebackers just drop straight back on the snap. If they give up an occasional run...who cares, there not going to do it enough to affect the game. This game reminded me so much of the Bengals tie game last year I felt sick lol.

But the Eagles *used* to be great at having depth at every position it seemed. They could lose a big player and have an unknown step in and not miss a beat. Do they not have that great depth anymore?

The O-line depth is alright. Lossing 3 starters is a lot though. I believe the biggest problem in the Raiders game, and in the last 3-4 years for that matter, is the horribly inbalanced play calling.

...sooooo....Broncos are 6-0 Baby! Yet still ESPN wants to blame all the other teams for playing bad. Give the Broncos some darn credit! Their defense is incredible right now I can't believe it! And I thought the Broncos were going to go 4-12 this year! How wrong could I be? Wow is all I have to say.

Is TO done? A good article:

Still... I can't help but wonder if rumours of his demise are premature. Sure, the guy is 36... WAY longer than what most WRs last in the NFL. But the guy has kept himself in AMAZING shape! Part of me thinks that it's just Buffalo which is the issue. They are just terrible. Could TO put up gaudy numbers on a team with a decent O-line, QB, defense, and other receivers? His fall has seemed to have happened too fast to me.

the giants huh? How about the saints, or colts, or patriots, or maybe even the cards. How in the hell would you cover Boldin, Fitzgerald, and Owens. (assuming you had a good O-Line). Through in a Wes Welker in the mix and BOOM superbowl baby!

Desean Jackson. Wow...this guy may be the most explosive player in the league right now. I am being biased of course, not only as an Eagle fan but he also won me my fantasy football game this week. He almost reminds of a Dante Hall, but with a much greater receiver skillset. He almost seemed open on every play last night, he ran some absolutely perfect routes. Mcnabb missed him a few times last night, either not looking his was or throwing him a wormburner.
His 5 TDs average like 60 yards each.

Owens, Moss, and Welker...Tom Brady would break all the records.

Well, I guess that clarification is needed....
Suppose Owens went to the Patriots where Moss and Welker already play. Tom Brady, who plays QB for the Patriots, would break all the records.
