sapasion, I have found that the 42.82`s are the best drivers for me benchmarking with XP.
Yeah I think this is my first 3DMark run in 6 months. I know drivers can make a big difference, but I also don't care to spend hours on end testing ten to fifteen different sets. I knew 40.72 were very much above average so I used those. However, clearly with a better set I should be well over 15K I imagine. My cpu is head and shoulders above most people in my class. Admittedly, though most are running nForce2 mobos. Still, I'd love to merely swap drivers and gain 500-800 points. If anyone knows what's faster than 40.72 post it please. BTW, I do know that the last two offical nVidia drivers are not faster 45.23 and 44.03.Quote:

Yeah your score beat my old record by 5 points and I had to push. I checked the front page for AMD & 4200's at FutureMark but no driver was repeated more than two or three times. The top 20 scores came from like eight or nine different drivers. If the SF community does not chime in further than I'll probably give your suggestion a whirl. BTW, have you personally tested 40.72 v 42.82?Quote:

I also noticed your FSB is higher then your prior run, but your raw speed is lower... You are about 70Mhz lower then your prior run.. Is there anyway to push it one notch up on the multi? :)
Yes, I did and the 42.82`s were a lot better then them on my system, I got that score with Win98se and the 43.51`s. Also one thing that might give you a boost is by going to win2K, AMD systems seem to do better on it then XP.Quote:

Well I gained a new client today... And over the next 2 months she will buy about 25 workstations from me.. And possibly a server...
So I see a 3.2/3.4 and a prommie in my future :D
Not yet. 2.54Ghz is about my max during this time of year without you know what ;). Certainly colder conditions will yield me higher marks but for now I'm going to try and find better drivers I guess.Quote:

hehe, Well I wont get much more from my video card.. IT is already maxed out with the stock cooling.. So I was thinking of using the prommie to cool that and keep the CPU air cooled.. Since now I dont even break 40c!!!! :) at full load...Quote:

That's nothing I can actually run 220FSB but the agp tears a lot so I have to drop the ram speed by 16Mhz or so resulting in a slightly lower score at 220x11.5 = 14795 @ 311/583
BTW I did my own testing this is why I hate 3DMark two hours of pure drivers tests end result on my pc 40.72 is the fastest, faster than 42.01, 42.82, 42.86, 41.09, 43.45 and 44.03 BTW2, the order above is the rank of the rest of the drivers. In other words, 42.01 was second fastest and 44.03 was slowest of those tested. Of course the 45.23 is even slower than 44.03 at 3DMark. So my 15K attempt will definitely be done with 40.72. I know if I could complete 220x11.5 @ 315/599 like I did at 212x12 I'd nail 15K.
Which brings up BTW3, there does not seem to be this push over 3DMark03. Perhaps I'll re-run that and at least take my class lead.

mine can't even handle 205 fsb, 200 its stable, 202 sometimes it is :(
