Oh what, there is loot? What the hell, I have been lied to!
Also, I found a review that explains the scaling in Zombie Island: "It’s important to note the following: The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned does scale everything according to your progress through the main story of Borderlands and not according to your character’s level." So basically my level is way higher than it should be at the point I'm at in the story.
I fought some huge dude with a gun chest chained to his back last night...freaking cool. Anyone down for some zombie slaying tonight?
Wurm65 on steam hit me up guys!
Just completed my first play through with my soldier. He's level 36. Now on to Mad Moxxi.
Did you not get Zombie Island? That one came out first, and I'm not sure how do-able Mad Moxxi is without having gone through that for XP/items. I guess they couldn't really REQUIRE you to have done one of the other DLCs before doing the next one, since not everybody would have bought all of them.
Moxie you have to be grouped for AFAIK
If you have Knoxx just skip moxxi and go straight there, Moxxi is only good for the storage bins.
I got it all mwhahahhaa. We ran zombie island last week so I am good. And I actually like moxxi. The soundtrack gets you all pumped up. Kama and I ran a few rounds. I can see that being a lot of fun with 4 equal level players. So do the quests start over for the next playthrough?
Been having a lot of fun with Borderlands. Just been playing with my Bro on LAN. I tried venturing into the online world a bit but it was hard to find games and when I did find them they were quite laggy. Sticking to lan for now but I made a new character for online games so will try it again before too long. Was surprised to see Gamespy is still around :P
