Vista SP2 Slipstream solution?
As of yet, I cannot seem to find the solution to allow slipstreaming of SP2 into my SP1 Vista DVD. I would definitely like the update, but it seems the installer lacks the /integrate switch as an option. Anyone have any luck?

SP2 has been fully released and not a release candidate anymore?!
Anyway, you could try vlite, http://www.vlite.net/index.html
I have used the XP variant nlite before with a lot of success, but not tried this one, but wouldn't expect this version to have any issues.

No, vlite will not work. It worked for SP1, but that's because it has the /integrate switch available.
Vlite simply automates using the /integrate switch found in previous service packs, this service pack does not offer that solution.
Thus the reason I am searching for a new solution. Both command line and vlite (gui over the command line) are not working.

Seems that I was incorrect on how vLite integrated the SP1 files.
An update: The problem with this situation is twofold. 1) SP2 requires SP1 to be integrated into the image already. 2) Once vLite senses SP1 is present, it disables the ability to slipstream service packs (assuming that you don't need to do so anymore.) This might be fixed in a future update, but the last version upgrade was 1.2 in August of last year.

hmm I have used vLite to slipstream Sp3 into a Sp2 disk with no problems, what's the difference? I did have to download WAIK first though.

Are you sure you aren't thinking about nLite? As far as I know, Vista doesn't have SP3, and SP2 was just released (no OEM disks available yet.)
*Edit: That being said, yes, there is a difference. the service packs for XP use the /integrate switch. Apparently the Vista ones do not. Literally with the Vista Service packs you install them on a system, then create a new install image (WIM) and put that on the disk in place of the stock one. I don't really understand it, but I'm still reading up on it.

There are SP2 slipstream solutions if you look hard enough.
I have completed the slipstream along with driver packs.
At this point I have not installed the slipstreamed version as yet.

Thanks for the link Nemesys. As with my previous link, there are ways to do it, but none as easy as the old command line "service_pack.exe /integrate:C:\folder location of your windows source\"

I tried this Vista Slipstream Guide and I get the following error:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I was wondering if it worked for you, or if you might have a solution.

This method looks simpler than the above, but I haven't tried it myself:
