Did you know that if you divide the number of atoms that make up a human verses the number of atoms that are estimated to make up the universe, we constitute 1/1,400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00 0,000,000 of the total universe.

Hmm, am I at 2,500 yet? *edit* blast, still 200 away. That's going to take a long time for me. Maybe loyal folks (like the OP, and like me, who've been coming since 2002) should be rewarded to some degree also. In fact, it makes more sense to reward long time visitors rather than high post counts.

Also who the hell is ua549 and how does he have 20k posts

UA is a moderator here, and he has 20k posts because he is retired and enjoys Sharky. I think a few others are up there, Colossus and Un4 come to mind.

Length of time is okay and all, but I was under the impression that the avatars were a nod towards contribution and not just membership length.

And considering that the total number of posts on all of Sharky forums since its inception is (as of 11:36am EST) 2,535,115, he'd have to be responsible for roughly 847 times the number of total posts on Sharkys since Day 1.
