very good article on vsync and tripple buffering from anandtech
i've heard a lot of retarded myths about frame rate, vsync, and tripple buffering. i thought this was a pretty well written article, and hopefully it clears some of that up. i can only hope that one day ati, nvidia, or all game companies implement it. i've been running w/ d3doverrider which enables triple buffering for quite a while, but it annoyingly always freezes my game when i alt+tab and i have to restart the game. also it causes some games like gta to crash

Excellent.
Do you happen to have a list or website that keeps track of what games support it?

Great article.
As for the above question - I'm guessing any game that uses OpenGL should have the triple-buffering option.

I know in the CCC I have the option to enable triple buffering, but it is for OGL games only. Some third party utilities give you the option to force it for DX games.

I believe you can also force triple buffering in the nvidia control panel, where you specify per-game settings.

Yeah, you can force it in the NV Control Panel.
