maximum AGP card for P4 2.8ghz?

What would be the fastest card I could reasonably pair with that CPU without having serious bottle neck issues?

    7800GS probably.

edit: which looks ridiculously expensive. That was when I stopped following AGP though, maybe there are better options.

    edit2: 4650 maybe: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125281

Not really sure how much the 2.8 will bottleneck it though. Not bad for $80 though.

Best AGP cards I can think of offhand are the 7800GS (DX9), 3850 and 4650 (or is it 4670?)...should go 3850 or 4650 (DX10). Best performer among the lot is prolly the 3850.....I think.

I was mostly looking on Craiglist and ebay for used stuff. So really am interested in what class of card to look for. Would a 2xxx ATI card be too much? I'll pic something up if it is a good price only.

What do you need out of the card? Gaming? HDCP? Net surfing/regular usage?
