You can use images, but it looks like it has to be JPEG, and the images that site provides are PNG. If you go to the Edit Signature section of your User CP the image stuff is at the bottom. Maybe message one of the admins for more info and see if they will support PNG(doubtful).

Since there is no demo, can anybody give me a general impression on if the gameplay is more "realism" oriented, IE like the Call Of Duty series, or more "action" oriented, IE like Quake Wars?

    Thanks...

I wouldn't call COD anymore 'real' then Quake Wars. But I get the idea behind your question.

With that in mind, with the two gametypes offered for comparability, I would state this (and some of us have talked about this over vent) that Bad Company 2 is Quake Wars gameplay, but with CoD:MW (1 or 2) elements..i.e. modern soldiers, weapon load outs, humans vs. humans..etc. But think Quake wars size maps, with Quake Wars teamplay, armor, vehicles, objectives, etc.

Teamwork is much stronger because one good player cant win a match by themself in BC2. I really feel like part of something much bigger because players can really help each other by healing or repairing or resupplying teammates. and the map isn't just a map, it's a real environment because pretty much any cover or building can be used and destroyed and there are quite a bit of stationary weapons and vehicles.

Ok, I fail at BB Code, how do I get my signature to show as an image???

Sometimes I play it safe and kill players that are busy or focused on something else by shooting them rather than going in to knife them. I guess I am just afraid of my old knifefails and the corresponding deaths. But the risk seems worth it and lately I take the chance.

What about "camping" (you know what I mean), is it possible to play as "rambo", or is the game geared more towards moving slowly, taking cover and "sniping" ?

Sounds good, I will probably pick this game up once it drops in price, since Quake Wars seem to be going extinct (less and less servers).

I was addicted to the dogtags in BF2142. I had screenshots of hundreds of them. Me and some friends were always out to get the hilarious names. This time around, it's not as meaningful since the tags just kind of hang there without their names on them.

It is, like today my squad and I bunny hoped into an enemy base, a medic, engineer, and two assaults, when we died Medic healed or revived us. The engineer dealt with any tanks or heavy machines.

Best moment was medic stayed behind covered and started to provide cover fire, as I the Engineer and the Assault guy rushed across o the M-COm station. The Assault used his 40 M laucher to blow a hole into the building, I hopped in and armed, recon provided cover for medic and we held that M-COM station down, it was cool and a very rare moment with VOIP worked.
