The problem with doing repairs is that a lot of drivers are complete idiots.
You get a tank in a shoot out and you are repairing him. Instead of covering you while you repair him, as soon as you start fixing him, he rushes off somewhere leaving you exposed...and him not fully repaired. Stay near me when I'm repairing you, you dumb idiot.
Or on hardcore they love to run you over while you repair them.

Problem is, even if you are repairing your little heart out, you aren't going to outrepair constant damage from multiple opponents. Therefore, it's not always smart to just sit there because you're being repaired, but rather it's better to get out of the line of fire.

Awesome.
I like to destroy enemy tanks using the repair tool. It makes me smile.

Lol, there's been plenty of times where I've confused somebody repairing a tank with somebody sabotaging it with the repair tool. Once I discover it's an enemy though, they are swiftly met with the Knife of Justice (to the throat).

I understand that, but the cases I mentioned were nothing like that.

Lol yeah you can definitely tell the difference between a BF2 player playing bad company and a CoD player. The BF2 player will get to cover and the CoD player runs off

That and the CoD player can't shoot for ****, doesn't spot anyone, and doesn't drop ammo/med kits or do any class-specific team helping activities.

Yup COD players believe that bullets are instant and never drop.

I don't think there is nearly enough bullet drop in BC2. For some reason I remember there being a lot more bullet drop in BF2. If you're going to have bullet drop at all and sights with Mil Dots, the bullet should drop 1 dot every 100m or so. Also if you're going to have it, all sights except maybe reflex sights should have adjustments for distance.

Agreed, I can't get used to the minimal bullet drop in BC2 after playing so much BF2.

There was a guy arguing fervently about how he wasted his money and how horrible this game is on a server we played. We told him to go play what he liked instead of bugging us in game. The guy started to talk about how much better Modern Warfare 2 is and how this game is a "cheap knock off" and horrible in comparison. The biggest complain that the guy had was that "bullets dropping" is not realistic. I suggested that we should listen to him because obviously he knows what he is talking about since he probably served in the military, to which he responded by saying that he fired a real gun and that bullets do not drop in real life.
Finally he left at the end of the round, with a score of like 4/27, playing as assault and never doing any teamwork functions at all. Didn't try to defuse charges, didnt drop ammo, didnt join a squad...reminded me why I skipped out on Modern Hackfare 2.

It probably has a lot to do with why I'm not too good with the bolt-action snipers. I can't accurately gauge bullet drop at long distances. Using the M24 I should be able to shoot at 100, 200, even 300m with the mil-dots, but they don't seem to correspond to anything.
