Tock
I stare pensively at the dwarf eagerly gesturing to me from the doorway. Although just as eager to see his wares, experience has taught me to be careful of things that break and bleed so easily and the rash actions that dominate their being. Why can't these creatures be more like trees.
I size him up and figure its worth the risk. I really do need a hammer and we are in a town. Worse comes to worse, I could always rip his arms off if he tries something. Ashen probably won't like that though. Maybe just a finger then?
I turn to Ashen and say in a matter of fact tone, "Ashen, I'm going out for a bit to see what this Dwarf has and hopefully pick up a new hammer and maybe some throwing hammers. I promise not to rip off any one's arms unless the situation demands it. If I'm not back in hour, come get me."
I turn to the eager dwarf, walk up to him and say, "Thank you sir. Please lead the way."
