So I "beat" Fallout 3 the other night.

I finished the main campaign anyway, and logged just over 77 hours of playtime. Didn't really get into Point Lookout or finish off the Broken Steel storyline, but I think I'm finished with the game for now.
There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said a zillion times over since 2008, but I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I originally bought it back at release, played it maybe 4-5 hours in, and just lost interest. Probably too soon after so much Oblivion, and I didn't care for the world as much.

I decided to give it another try, and while not quite as immersive as Oblivion's world for me, I was genuinely captivated for the entire time, and loved every minute.

Up Next: Lots. I'm in a strategy mood right now, and eagerly anticipating Shogun 2 in a couple of weeks, but right now I can't decide on what to get into. Right now, it's looking like Victoria II, but I'm also toying around with:

Sins of a Solar Empire
Galactic Civilizations 2
Napoleon Total War
Empire Total War
Hearts of Iron 3
Hearts of Iron 2 (w/expansions)
Civ 4 Beyond the Sword
Take Command 2nd Manassass

...and now with Fallout 3 done, I'm thinking about getting into another RPG, maybe restart Dragon Age Origins and see how far I can get, play more in Lost Odyssey, or give Alpha Protocol a try.

Other than that, I still spend time with Donkey Kong Country Returns every once in awhile, although it's not nearly as addictive as the SNES games, and Left 4 Dead and NBA 2K11 are played almost nightly.

Beat Uncharted 2 last night. Awesome game that improves on part 1 in every way, shape and form.

Now working on Red Dead redemption.

Beat Bioshock 2 today, and started Bulletstorm.

After getting used to the controls on Bioshock2, I gotta say, I did like the game. I still like the first game better, but it was a worthy sequel. Definitely liked the new version of hacking better. And it's short enough that I wouldn't mind playing through it again to try a different buildout on my weapons and plasmids.

Completely agree. While Uncharted was loads of fun, 2 was just fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was the random, tedious way the gameplay started - taking a longggg time to climb out of wreckage... and then you had to do it again later, too!

Yeah that bit was ********. Aside from that, its a solid game and I really really enjoyed it. I wish there was more replay value though.

I love the Uncharted games but I wish there was more exploring and less enemy spawn rooms.

I just beat the Dawn of War II: Retribution Eldar campaign. Was looking forward to the rest of them until I heard they were all the same with different dialog/units. It was fun but I'll have to find the value in the added Last Stand and race features instead of the campaign.

I might try to knock out the Witcher finally or finish my current playthrough of Mass Effect 2.

For fans of the Uncharted series, not sure if you've heard, but 3 is coming out this year.

Just 'finished' Heavy Rain over the weekend. I am going back and playing it again to see some of the different endings.

Hey me too! It was a fantastic game IMO. There were some technical glitches, but I really enjoyed it. I bought it because it recently dropped to 29.99. I can't recommend this game enough, its like what Indigo Prophecy should have been.

Finished up Bulletstorm this weekend. Played through on Very hard the first time, and Very Easy the second time (to clean up achievements and skillshots).

I thoroughly enjoy the game. It is short, violent, irreverent and a great way to blow off some pent up rage at the end of a day. That said, it's story was somewhat lacking. The game ran fine on the rig in my specs at full 1920x1200 resolution with AA on. So it's not a resource hog.

I'd recommend it more once it goes on sale. The multiplayer (what little time I could play it before losing connection to a server) was OK, but the actual single player game and echoes were much better. Maybe I just had bad luck because I was playing on a Saturday.

Next up is my 2nd playthrough of BioShock2 and a playthrough of the DLC for Bioshock2. After that I'll probably go back and try and finish FF13.

"Finished" Pokemon Black on Friday ("finished" meaning I beat the story proper and have moved on to the post game content), and I liked it a lot. Probably the best one overall IMO.

No idea what I'm going to play next. Going through a bit of a reorganization right now. Thinking of being drastic and trading in my ENTIRE backlog and then just rebuying stuff the moment I want to play it.

I beat Mafia 2 over the weekend. Although it was somewhat short at ~9 hours, it was a wonderful game at well worth the 7.50 I picked it up for on steam. The story was a lot better than the GTA games and the environments and ambiance were richer IMO.

Finished DAO for the third time.

I wanted to do two things:

1) Build a warrior using both Archery and Dual Wield to check if if worked or if the character lack of specialization hinders him. It worked. I ended the game with all skills maxed out for both and it added another tactical choice in battle making it interesting to play (though less fun than Mage). The character ended up being the biggest beatstick I've played (dishing out 47% of the total damage of my crew, while my rogue and mage ended around 38) probably because it was effective no matter it's position on the field.

2) Die in heroic sacrifice. Well, the story's well written and some choices I made during the course of the game made it impossible to reach that end. I found that more interesting than dying in fact.

I'll have to die one day I suppose (and be clever about it from the start this time).

Now started playing DA2.

I normally pick fighters as my main in RPGs, but I was thinking about going wizard when I played DA:O. Then I heard wizards were stupidly overpowered, and made the game a bit too easy. Not being able to decide for myself, I started wondering a different question, and here's where you come in:

What would be the best character for me to choose to get the most interesting party members? I was actually thinking about making a healer of some sort because I've heard the only real dedicated healing type party member you get is REALLY annoying.
