So close to beating Dragon Force.
So close, but the end is SO HARD. Going to have to grind on dragons, I guess.

Just finished Final Fantasy 13. Game built up quite well (a bit over-dramatic, but it's an FF game after all), and then sort of rushed to the finish line in the last 2 chapters.
Total playtime (including the time I fell asleep while playing): 101 hrs. That includes post game play to level up crystariums, 5-star all quests, etc. Now I'm back to my 2nd playthrough of DA:O and Awakenings.

Finished up Limbo. Great game, it's short, but very fun. Still need to do the runthrough without dying thing to find the last hidden worm, but I'll get back to it later for that.
Also, Just finished up Marvel Ultimate Alliance playthrough 1. Playing through it a second time, and lamenting not being able to get the DLC for it.
I'd give the game a B-.
Good game, same vein (literally) as X-Men Legends, etc. Fun to play, controls are decent. Voice acting is good, but can be wonky at times.
Flaws:
- Game is bugged majorly. I've had to hard reset my X-box 3 times while playing it.
- Game is bugged (in a weird poor coding way). For example, I got the "beat 15 bosses without dying" achievement 3 bosses from the end of the game. There are only 15 bosses in the game. So....yeah...
Bugs and flaws aside, it is a fun game. Recommended at it's current price of <$7. Just know you will never be able to get the DLC since they pulled it from the Marketplace and PSN at the end of last year.

If you track down a copy of the Gold Edition of the game, I believe that has all the DLC on disk. Has some of it, anyway.

Just finished up Mass Effect 2 + some DLC.
Enjoyed the game, played through it on Insanity using an imported ME1 Engineer. I would have to give my vote for Engineer as a great equalizer against some of the humanoid bosses. The AI's requirement to focus on a combat drone first makes it infinitely easier to stay out of cover long enough to do some real damage to barriers, shields, armor, and health.
Playing through a second time now with an imported Soldier, but on normal. It's fun to run up and beat the bejeezus out of people this time around. Much more enjoyable than "huddle behind the waist-high cover for 95% of the fight waiting for powers to recharge".
Once I finish this, I think I'm taking a break for a bit. Might go back and play some Borderlands, or finish up Ace Attorney. I've been playing that on the side, and enjoying it.

Has got that jut
Finished inFAMOUS a few weeks back. Not bad overall, though it had some pacing problems and the ability to climb all over everything also means that you stick to all sorts of stuff whether you want to or not (getting around the city was much easier and more fun in Prototype, imo). Started the sequel and got a few hours in but for whatever reason I have just about lost all interest in continuing.
Currently replaying Vandal Hearts on the PS1 (~3/4 of the way through, I'd guess) and playing Starscape for the first time. Vandal Hearts has aged quite well imo; the art style itself isn't very good, but the graphics are passable for such an old game and it is fast moving in general (many JRPGs back then are hard to get into again because of the slow animations and loading times). Killshots area as satisfying as ever, with the kill sound, screen shake, and massive gout of blood shooting out.
Starscape is good fun. Maybe a little bit repetitive, and there are some polish issues (having to back all the way out to the main menu to save, for instance; in most games going to the main menu means you're quitting without saving). Really close to the end of that one, I think I could finish it by going straight to the boss but I'm grinding to upgrade some equipment first. There aren't many other games like this, though the upcoming Space Pirates and Zombies shows some good promise.

What you gonna do?!?
Forgot about this thread.
I just finished Catherine and it was really fun about 90% of the time and the other 10% was wall punch inducing frustration. The story is a little wonkybut overall it was a really fun game.

Beat Fallout: GOTY Edition.
Playing Nier and Just Cause 2 at the moment as well as some smaller games like Terraria, and Dungeons of Dreadmor.
I think I've given up on Demons Souls and will sell it on half.com.

Got my first Platinum with LA Noire so now I'm bouncing between Gran Turismo 5 and the Painkiller pack I just got yesterday on Steam. Yes, mindless blasting and teeth gnashing frustration. I feel they balance each other

Mr Zurkon is here to kill
I was about 25 hours into Assassin's Creed 2 and for whatever reason my saved game is now failing to show up in the load menu. I was really into it and was doing all the side stuff, but now I really don't want to do it all over again. I might just watch the ending on youtube and go on to brotherhood.
Other than that, I'm totally pumped for Red Orchestra 2 which comes out on September 13th. Deluxe edition gets access to the final beta test, so once that's available I'm jumping into that.

and a whole lot of lovin..
