When you clean the registry in CC cleaner, it gives you an option to save a copy of the current registry config (incase you mess stuff up). What I do is this. If I have made significant changes (firmware updates, driver updates, hardware changes), I keep a copy of the registry file. But if it's routine registry cleaning, then I don't. Haven't run into a problem yet.
