Giantbomb did an hour long Quick Look. I watched it and will pick the game up when it gets cheaper. I'm in no rush. The take away was to buy it on PC, the PS3 and 360 versions are painfully laggy.

Violation plans to release mod tools for the PC version SR4 so to me the PC is a no brainer.

What you gonna do?!?
So I ended up picking this up yesterday. It very much feels like a crackdown game, which is good. It also made me literally laugh out loud uncontrollably for about 5 minutes. I've never, ever, had a game make me laugh like that, and I've played some funny *** games like NOLF, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Deathspank. It does feel like an expansion to SR3 but it isn't bothersome to me, I was able to pick it up for $40 at GMG and it seems worth it so far.

I'm about 4 hours in and its pretty solid. been working on unlocking powers. The humor in this game is pretty great.
That said, I seriously need to upgrade my Pc. still running a 4870

Was that sarcastic? haha A 4870 is pretty old now. Depending on the resolution, I'm sure that thing is huffing and puffing.
Tag, I recently got a GTX760 and it is an awesome card for the price, if you are looking at an upgrade.

yeah the 4870 struggles and it shows. I'm due for an upgrade since my entire rig is 4 years old. I might get to it in the next few months. Have a trip to Thailand to plan and I want to setup a personal work out area in my basement.
760 looks like a serious contender for a nice budget rig. I can't believe the 780 is almost 300 more. Yikes!

I don't exactly have a top of the line card myself.

It struggles but the game is completely playable on low. I run it on low and I still have ablast. Nicer graphics would be nice, but the zany gameplay is what keep me.

I try to use my graphics card until I pick up a game that won't work with it at all. That seems to be 5-6 years. Then I try and buy last year's top card (or thereabouts - usually around $300-350) and it usually requires a complete rebuild of my PC at the same time.

Same for me. I can runn a 760 but not to its full potential with my current rig. I want to do a new build and re-purpose this as my home server.
