At this point, the first two sessions have been scheduled against my ability to arrive. In the future, I don't expect my schedule to be taken into consideration when it comes to scheduling sessions.
That being said, I'm not particularly looking to get my hopes up if the days the game happens are going to change around so much. If there's a good chance I won't be able to make a large amount of the game, why play?
I had a great time with the cleric, so that is not a problem at all. My guy felt pretty well rounded and I was happy with my damage being a support class. I really like the way the cleric works in DnD as opposed to other games in which they are usually squishy.
I'm not one to jump around a lot with characters, I usually like to find one and stick with it until they get pretty high.
Here is my journal entry for our first meeting:
Sound about right?Quote:

I vote somebody maintains an Obsidian Portal page for us too. It can be handy. Also, would be a good place to compile journal entries and whatnot.
I'll have to check that out. Would be nice once we start a real campaign.
Definitely. I try to use it for my IRL game. Although, the most recent campaign was really only just getting started when we went on hiatus. Here is a fourth edition campaign we played for about a year: http://www.obsidianportal.com/campai...e-five-nations
I forgot to write it down, what was the name of the adventuring company you guys are associated with? It was Bahumut something something... I know we came up with something really quick, so if you want to change that to something else, please discuss it and I'll use that in the future. :)
You forgot about my awesome jumping out of the pit in one jump and ripping the metal great with no effort. : FLEXES:
Sweet...I'd be down for that.
IIRC, The group's dugeon crawl was financed by The Holy Order of Bahumut and Company to search for Bahumut related items. I don't think we came up for a name for our party yet.
I see, so you want your party to merely be affiliated with this group?
The way I imagined it is that Ashen and Werk are directly employed by this group for different reasons (Ashen has a drive to explore and uncover historical artifacts and Werk was ordered to join Ashen's group after the Holy Order decided he was way too uptight and needed to get out more) and Tock might not have any official group affiliations but is working with Ashen and The Holy Order due to their past together and hopes that their future exploration will lead to more information about the demise of Professor not-yet-named.
Thats pretty much it IMHO..
The way I see it, Ashen and Tock are free lancers hired by Werk and his Order to look for artifacts. The Order provides the 3 adventures with the most basic of adventuring items (adventure kits, some rations, a few coins, and etc) and also provides information of where potential Bahumut items might be located. They also pay us for any additional info or artifacts we uncover from an exploration. In the meantime, Ashen and Tock also use this as an opportunity to explore the land and uncover more about the demise of their professor.
I like that setup. I think it gives the DM a lot of freedom in crafting a scenario since we have 2 motiving back stories and a religious Order to work with.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, my character was named after his fascination with clocks and the light tocking sound he makes when he's in deep thought/trance.
I believe they gave me a list of certain artifacts which they wanted to procure, however they will pay extra for anything else we find that is Bahamut related. They also spoke of a legendary artifact, but it was very vague only I only caught bits here and there between the high cleric's meetings.
So when are we playing again? I can do this coming Sunday from 9am to 1pm West cost time.
Maybe even 2pm depending on what i get done Saturday.
That sounds fine with me. We got on today and messed around with the macros. The macro engine is very robust.
Any good tips? CAN you post yoru macro file?
I have my basic rolls macro-ed, but I think i will make a macro for each power I have, complete with descriptions and flavor text! If the game supports conditional statements, i can probably code some humorous effects depending on the roll and then use that to call sub macros.
Any one know where I can find a manual for the maptool macro editor?

Ashen had a great template, but I don't have it handy right now.
